July Meeting

The July meeting was held at the Marathon County Park in correlation to our Annual Social.

After enjoying a picnic potluck supper, the members visited with Rep. Donna Seidel. Discussion was held with Donna - She wanted to know more about honeybees. The association mentioned concerns with loss of colonies. Kudos were given to the spraying sign up and that phone calls are being made when spraying occurs. Members talked about concerns with spraying /pesticides and how it affects the honeybees. Donna asked about the hives each member had and will help the association by providing resources that the Association can turn to.

Discussion was held on the themes/topics for next year.

Social/meeting ended at 8:00.

Next Meeting - 7:00 p.m. UW-Extension - 2nd Tuesday of the Month.
